The Youth and Cultural Center Alte Brauerei (Old Brewery) Annaberg e.V. was founded in 1997 and is a registered, non-profit association and sponsor of the Socio-Cultural Center Alte Brewery based in Annaberg-Buchholz.
The The house combines cultural events with open children's and youth work to form a socio-cultural practice.
In the front building we house our local laboratory - a digital workshop and experimental space for everyone who enjoys tinkering, crafting and experimenting. Packed with modern creative technology. These include, among other things, 3D printers, laser cutters and resin printers, high-performance PCs, game consoles and complete equipment in the areas of sound, video and images. Right above you will find our backstage rooms, which can be used for short-term overnight stays. The front building also houses an externally run drum and guitar school as well as a rehearsal room.
Our offices are on the 2nd floor, where you can mostly find us or have to look for us.
The café in the back building is the focal point for our location. Open to everyone and offering food and drinks.
No matter whether with an ongoing offer, a large collection of games, dart boards and table tennis tables or just like that. Simply the ideal open space.
Connected to the café is our event hall including a technology booth, stage, separate entrance area and access to the toilets. You enter via our courtyard with a lush and cozy terrace, which of course invites you to linger in the summer.
