This architectural monument is located in the district of Linda Frohburg, a large old farm
with courtyard from the 16th century.
In 2014 we were able to save her from real estate speculation into a charitable project.
By 2020, the gatehouse and two apartments in the residential building were renovated in accordance with listed buildings. The communal rooms with a living room, kitchen, office and the farm's own maker space are being created on the ground floor of the house. Planning for the barn renovation has also has begun.

The aim of Kulturgut Linda e.V.  is to renovate the listed four-sided farm with courtyard and to creatively promote child and youth welfare, culture and local heritage.
Since 2016 we have been organizing MINT, democratic and cultural children's and youth education
as well as socio-cultural activities.
It supports the preservation of rural cultural heritage and the transfer of knowledge from urban trends to rural areas
and is active regionally and nationally.

Makerspace Focus

A construction wagon will be built into a guest space before June and function a beautiful outdoor sleeping area.
The beautifully renovated farmhouse kitchen and sanitary facilities in the house are at your disposal.
This makerspace is a rural retreat. There is a beautifully renovated farm with a permaculture garden, animals such as sheep (wool and meat) and chickens. Nests and shelters are built for various animals. Experiments are also being done with a 3D printer for this, combining 3D printed shapes with natural materials.
Beer is brewed (experimental) and much is built in-house.
Marc and Franziska come from the Berlin dance and theater scene and gave up a successful theater and dance school to realize their dream in the countryside of Saxony, in between Leipzig and Chemnitz.
Their passion and perseverance is infectious.
